Requirements

Essential Job Accountabilities:

•        Responsible for engineering design, documentation, testing and technical support of both field, installation and manufacturing issues.
•       Writing technical reports to include installation procedures as well as the Operations and Maintenance manual.
•       Oversee all performance testing on jobs for Fossil and Nuclear.
•       Actively champion design improvements that promote increases in reliability or decreases in either manufacturing or operation costs.
•       Oversee the activities of assigned drafting staff in the creation of drawings and bills of materials to support design responsibility.
•       Responsible for engineering parts list and any other engineering documentation.
•       Provide technical support in the way of documentation, assistance in writing maintenance manuals.
•       Be knowledgeable of cost information, time assessments and estimates that allow for engineering analysis to be generated.
•       When possible, conduct training seminars on pump hydraulics.
•       Travel to customer sites with salesmen or on your own.
•       Perform the following functions: ANSYS stress analysis, mechanical and hydraulic performance testing, reverse engineering support.

Requirements and Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years’ experience in pump design and pump refurbishment.
• Computer proficient.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
